The one address

[email protected] handles everything at PUBGSymbol: there is no phone line, WhatsApp, Discord server or support account, and we never message you first. If an account claiming to be PUBGSymbol contacts you from anywhere other than that address, it is not us.

There is no contact form on this page, and that is deliberate. A form would have to collect and store what you type on our side; a plain email address does not, and it leaves a copy in your own sent folder. What happens to a message once it arrives is set out in our Privacy Policy.

What to include in your message

Most delays come from a message we cannot act on. This is the minimum that lets us fix something on the first reply:

What you want Include this Why it helps
Report a symbol the rename box refused The exact string, pasted; the game and region; your device Lets us repeat the attempt on the same combination
Flag something wrong or out of date on a page The page address and the sentence you are questioning We correct the page and change its updated date
Remove a name from the public list The name text, copied exactly, and the page it appears on Matching is done on exact text, not a description
Suggest a symbol set we do not cover An example of the look you mean We check whether Unicode has an equivalent
Raise a copyright or trademark matter The points listed further down An incomplete notice cannot be acted on

Reporting a symbol the game rejected

This is the message we most want to receive. The rename field changes what it accepts without any announcement, and the person who notices is always a player, not us.

A useful report has three parts:

  • The string itself, pasted into the email rather than described. “The one with the crown” matches several different characters; the exact text settles which.
  • Where you tried it — PUBG Mobile or BGMI, and the region or build if you know it. The same character can behave differently between them.
  • Your device — iPhone, Android or an emulator. A character missing from the font shows as an empty box, which is a different problem from the box refusing to accept it. Telling us which one you saw saves a round trip.

A screenshot is welcome and settles the question faster than any description. If the symbol really was refused, we retest it, correct the page and move its updated date — we do not quietly delete the entry and pretend it was never there.

Asking us to remove a name

Names in the public list come from visitors, and a new name typed into the generator can become a page of its own. If either one contains personal information, impersonates you, or is simply yours and you want it gone, send the exact text and where it appears. We remove it, and we ask the name service behind the generator to drop it too. You do not need to explain why or prove anything.

The same applies to the writing on the site. If we have described something incorrectly, tell us and we will fix it — and when we do, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it.

Before writing about copyright, one thing is worth knowing: the decorative characters themselves cannot be owned. They are code points in the public Unicode standard, not artwork and not fonts — nobody holds a copyright in them, ourselves included. What can be owned is written text, images and page layouts.

If you believe original material of yours has been reproduced on this site, send:

  • The address on PUBGSymbol where it appears.
  • The original work and where it was first published.
  • Enough detail for us to identify the overlap — quoting the passage is ideal.
  • Your contact details and confirmation that you hold the rights or act for whoever does.

Access to the material is disabled while we review a complete notice. If you believe your material was removed in error, reply in the same thread and we will reopen it. Incomplete notices are slower, not ignored — we write back and say which item is missing.

Trademark matters follow the same route. To be explicit: this site does not host or distribute any official PUBG, BGMI or KRAFTON logo or artwork, and it is not affiliated with any of them.

Who reads the mail

Messages are read by the PUBGSymbol editorial team — the same group that tests the characters and writes the pages. As explained on our About page, we deliberately do not attach an invented personal byline or a stock-photo “expert” to this site: fabricating one would be trivial and it would tell you nothing about whether a symbol works. The team is real, we simply do not pretend it is a celebrity.

We do not promise a turnaround in hours. Rather than publish a number a small team cannot hold to, the honest version is this: mail is read in order, and reports that include the details listed above are the ones that get acted on fastest.

What writing to us will not do

Being straight about the limits saves you an email:

  • We cannot recover, unlock or rename a game account. We have no relationship with KRAFTON and no access to any account system.
  • We cannot reverse a forced rename or a name penalty. If the game changed your name or applied a 90-day restriction, that decision belongs to the publisher and only their support can act on it.
  • We cannot refund a Rename Card. Nothing on this site can restore one that was spent.
  • We cannot make the game accept a character. Filters belong to the game. We can tell you what currently passes and what does not, and we update the page when that changes.
  • We cannot reserve a name for you. Anything on this site can be copied by anyone.
  • We will never ask for your credentials. If a message asks us to log in as you, we decline and tell you to change that password.
