Who runs this site

PUBGSymbol is published by the PUBGSymbol editorial team. One address reaches us: [email protected], also listed on the Contact page. There is no phone line, no support account and no Discord, we never message you first, and we will never ask for your game login.

The short version

There is no sign-up, no account and no contact form on this site, and comments are switched off. We never ask for your real name, your phone number, your character ID or your password, and there is nowhere on the site you could give them to us. The site runs no advertising network, no Google Analytics and no social tracking pixel, and it sets no cookie of its own — that was checked on the live page, not promised from a template.

What the site does handle is short, and all of it is below.

What Why Where it goes
The name you type into the generator To build the styled versions and register a new name so it gets its own page This server, then the name service below
Your IP address Sent with the name to the name service; used here only to stop one visitor inflating a view count The name service; a 24-hour marker on this server
A name you submit to the public list To publish it in the community list on that page Public on the site until you ask for removal
An email address you type into the newsletter box To send you new symbol packs when there are any Stored on this server only — no mailing-list company
Page, browser and IP of each request Standard server and security logging Server logs, Cloudflare, Sucuri

What happens to the name you type

This is the part that matters most, so it gets said plainly: the generator is not client-side. When you type a name and press generate, that text leaves your browser, reaches our server, and goes from there to the service that builds and stores the name catalogue. Any site in this niche claiming the text “never leaves your device” is describing a different tool.

  • A new name becomes a page. When a name has not been seen before, it is registered in the catalogue and gets a permanent address here, so the next person searching for it lands on a ready-made set.
  • So type a nickname, not your identity. Do not enter your full legal name, your address, your phone number, your email or your player ID. The box is for the name you want in the game, and what you type there may become a public page.

If a page was created from something you typed and you want it gone, email us the exact text and the address of the page. We remove it and ask the name service to drop it too. You do not have to explain why.

The name service we send it to

The catalogue behind the generator is not ours. It is operated by an external catalogue provider we license it from, on servers in the European Union, which means the data described here leaves the country you are reading from.

  • Sent to them: the name you typed and your IP address, when the name is new and has to be registered; and, when you submit a name to the public list, that text with your IP as well.
  • Why the IP: it lets them rate-limit automated abuse of a free, account-less service. It is not used to build a profile of you, and we never see one.
  • Not sent: anything else, because there is nothing else. No email from the newsletter box, no account, no device fingerprint.
  • How long they keep it: that is the provider’s decision and not ours to state on their behalf. Deletion requests go through us and we pass them on.

Names you submit to the public list

Some pages carry a list of names submitted by visitors. Nothing you merely type into the generator ends up there — an entry appears only when you deliberately press the submit button. Submissions are trimmed to 30 characters and screened by an automatic filter before they can appear, and anyone can ask for their own entry to be removed by emailing the exact text and the page it is on. Treat anything you submit as public from the moment you press the button.

The newsletter box

The box in the footer is the only place on the site that asks you for anything, and using it is entirely optional. If you enter an email address there:

  • The address and the date you submitted it are stored on this site’s own server. No mailing-list company is involved and the address is not passed to anyone.
  • Nothing else is stored with it — not your IP, not the page you were on, not a tracking identifier.
  • To be removed, email us and say so. The address is deleted, not merely flagged.

View counts and what is not stored

Articles show a view count. To stop a refresh loop inflating it, the server turns your IP address into an irreversible marker that lives for 24 hours and then expires by itself. The IP itself is never written into any table, the marker is never sent anywhere, and it cannot be turned back into an address. The number you see is a plain counter on the article, with nothing attached to it about who read it.

Security, CDN and server logs

  • Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a delivery network and attack filter, so it sees the IP of every request and may set its own security cookie — that one is not placed by us.
  • Sucuri logs suspicious login and probe attempts, including the source IP, to block attacks.
  • Server logs record the usual: address, time, page, browser. They rotate on the normal system schedule.

None of this is used to profile visitors, and we do not sell, rent or trade any of it.

Younger players

A large share of people looking for PUBG and BGMI name styles are teenagers, which is exactly why the site is built to work without collecting a single personal detail: no account, no profile, nothing identifiable to hand over. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a page here was created from something that identifies a child, email us and we will remove it without argument and without asking for proof of anything.

Your choices and how to use them

  • Ask what we hold. Email us. In most cases the honest answer is nothing, because the site stores no visitor identifier — only counters keyed to names and articles.
  • Ask for a removal. Send the exact text and the page address. We delete it here and forward the request to the name service.
  • Leave the newsletter. One email and the address is deleted.
  • Simply not type it. On a site with no account, the strongest control is what you choose to put in the box.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not quietly widen a policy to cover something new. Alongside this page, About explains who writes the site and how a symbol is checked, and Terms of Service covers the rules.
